How to add your Brand Page

Read this article to find out how to create your brand profile in Product Guru, before listing your products.

What is a brand?

Your brand is how your company presents its products to consumers. Branding plays a key role in making a memorable impression on consumers, and projecting what customers can expect from your company. It is a way of distinguishing yourself from the competitors and clarifying what it is you offer that makes you the better choice.

How do I create a brand page?

As soon as your supplier account is registered, it's time to create your brand page or brand profile. If your company represents multiple brands, do not worry: you are able to create as many brands as you like (there is no limit). On your Product Guru dashboard, you will see the screen below. Brands & Products is on the left hand side.

Once in this page, you will find the option to add New Brand near the top right corner of your screen.

In the next screen, you can enter information in both Brand Overview and Brand Details. Not all information is compulsory, but we do recommend that you try and enter as much information as possible, as this helps your brand and products to be found by retailers and buyers using our range search tool.

The information required is mostly very straightforward.

Brand Name: This is the name of the Brand the products fall under.

Brand WebsiteIf you have a website where you trade your own products.

Brand Email: This would be the email for buyers to reach out to you.

Brand Description : Brief overview of your Brand (must be under 400 characters, which includes all letters, spaces and punctuation marks)

Product Description : Brief overview of your Products (must be under 400 characters, which includes all letters, spaces and punctuation marks)

Unique Selling Points : Is there something that makes your products special in comparison to competitors? This is the perfect opportunity the mention these USP's.

Social Media Channels: This provides an opportunity for you to share your social channels, and get potential buyers to visit your social accounts to get a better idea of your brand's personality: who you are and what your brand represents. If you do not have all of the channels, please enter the ones you currently have (please enter full URL, not username)

Brand Logo: The logo of your brand must be 400 x 400 pixels in size.

Brand Background Image: This image will be shown in the background of your brand page (1200 x 675 pixels).

Once all the Brand Overview details have been filled out, we ask if you could then enter your Brand Details:

Year of Establishment: The year your brand was created.

Size of Brand: Annual expected revenue (there are two numbers for a rough estimation)

RRP Range: This is automatically calculated by the products you'll add to the platform

Already Stocked In: If you select the box, you will see a list of retailers. You can search from the box, and if there is any you'd like added in, please contact us directly and we can do this on your behalf.

Once all the information has successfully been added, click on the blue Save button in the bottom right-hand corner. You will see a prompt confirmation, as shown below:

If you don't see the Success confirmation, please re-click either Brand Overview or Brand Details to see the issue that has caused your Brand details not to save. If you do not select this to see where the change is needed, you will loose all the information which has previously been entered.
