Virtual Product Pitch Events T&Cs

While we take every possible step to make sure that all pitch events go ahead as scheduled, in the unlikely event we're not able to confirm the attendance of the minimum number of buyers, or the minimum number of brands pitching is not met, or due to unforeseen circumstances the event can't go ahead, we'll transfer your ticket to the next suitable event. Where no further comparable event, or no suitable event category is scheduled within 6 months of the original event date, we'll issue you with a refund. If we find that you product range is not relevant to a specific event, we reserve the right to transfer your ticket to a more relevant event.

Also, although it's unlikely, sometimes a retailer may not be able to attend an event due to circumstances outwith our control. In this scenario, subject to minimum buyer numbers being met, the event will go ahead as scheduled.

 
We can’t offer a refund if your event is going ahead as planned so make sure you’re happy with the details before you book. In some cases, you might have the option to transfer your ticket and we’ll try our best to help. There are a couple of options, depending on the time-frame you can request a transfer.

MORE THAN 3 WEEKS BEFORE THE EVENT

You have a couple of options:

  1. You may be able to request to transfer your purchase to a later event. Just provide us with a few details and we’ll do what we can to accommodate your request at no cost. If there’s no date available at the moment, we’ll credit your Product Guru account with the full value of your booking and you can book in again when a suitable event becomes available.
  2. You’re able to request that we re-sell the ticket on your behalf. We’ll look for a suitable brand to take your place and if we’re successful in re-allocating your ticket, we’ll credit your Product Guru account with the price of your ticket less a £50 admin fee. We’re not able to guarantee that your ticket will be re-allocated.
  3. You also have the option to nominate another company to take your place (with their permission). We’ll take a look at the details and if they’re a suitable swap, and agree to buy a ticket, we’ll credit the full amount you paid for your ticket to your Product Guru account, once they’re booked in.

LESS THAN 3 WEEKS BEFORE THE EVENT

At this late stage your options are more limited, but we do want to help find a solution. You have a couple of options:

  1. You’re able to request that we re-sell the ticket on your behalf. We’ll look for a suitable brand to take your place and if we’re successful in re-allocating your ticket, we’ll credit your Product Guru account with the price of your ticket less a £50 admin fee. We’re not able to guarantee that your ticket will be re-allocated.

If we’re not able to re-allocate your ticket and you’re not able to attend the event you’ve booked, unfortunately we’re not able to offer a refund or credit.
